The Crisler Library - Ephesus
To continue the cultural and literary goals, B. Cobbey and Janet V. Crisler envisioned in Turkey: local and international seminars, archaeological research and manuscript preservation by digitization: projects the Crislers felt essential to understanding mankinds’ present challenges through knowledge of patterns of history. To provide opportunities for the world’s finest scholars and archaeologists to gather and present their findings. Such goals are implemented through seminars in English, Turkish and German.
The Crisler Library is located in Selcuk town, between the Artemis Temple and the St John Basilica. It has a small Conference Hall with a piano (seats 30 people), Manuscript Hall, Terrace café and the research Library. Biblical groups can have a service there. www.crislerlibraryephesos.com
