Day 01
Istanbul
Arrive in Istanbul. Transfer to hotel.
Day 02
Istanbul
(Culture and fashion) Morning visit to the
Hippodrome, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace.
Afternoon walking tour in Istiklal Caddesi, where
are clustered wonderful clothing shops. You can find
just about every international name brand and the
famous Turkish brands. At the end of the afternoon
take the ancient tramway with the local public and
return to the hotel. Tonight, dinner will be hosted
in Beyti Restaurant, one of the oldest meat
restaurants in town. (B,D)
Day 03
Istanbul
(Byzantine and Oriental Aroma) In the morning visit
Hagia Sophia and the Underground Cistern. Spend the
afternoon in an oriental shopping atmosphere: the
Covered Bazaar in the heart of the old city, a hive
of over 4000 little shops, and the delightful Spice
Bazaar for Turkish food and delights. Tonight,
dinner will be hosted in a Turkish restaurant that
offers international cuisine, as well as folk and
belly dancing. (B,D)
Day 04
Istanbul - Izmir
(More modern than the occident and antiques) In the
morning explore Akmerkez, a very luxurious shopping
mall which offers everything a shopping pro would
need. In the afternoon, visit a lively group of
shops specializing in rural antiques. The choice
runs from traditional Turkish craft pieces to fine
European furniture. Late afternoon fly to Izmir.
Transfer to hotel. (B)
Day 05
Izmir - Ephesus - Izmir
(Archaeology and jewellery) Morning visit to Ephesus,
best preserved antique city of the world. In the
afternoon visit a well known jewellery factory and
watch a leather fashion show. Return to Izmir.
Tonight you will enjoy a sea food restaurant on the
Aegean Coast. (B,D)
Day 06
Izmir - Pergamon - Izmir
(Acropolis and carpets-kilims) Morning visit to the
Acropolis of Pergamon. In the same region young
girls create famous hand-woven rugs and kilims.
Observe a carpet factory. Return to Izmir. Visit
Kemeralti open air market with its thousands of
colors and ancient Kizlaragasi Hani. Tonight dinner
will be hosted in a Kebab restaurant. (B,D)
Day 07
Izmir - End Of Tour
After breakfast transfer to Izmir International
airport for flight to your destination. (B)
