TOUR ITINERARY:

Day 01 Depart US or Canada

Day 02 Arrive Cairo
Arrive early afternoon. Our representative will meet you and transfer to the hotel. Visit Old Cairo - Khan El Khalili Bazaar in late afternoon.

Day 03 Cairo
Visit Giza Piramids, Egyptian Museum. Overnight Train to Aswan.

Day 04 Aswan - Fly Abu Simbel - Fly Back to Aswan - Embark Ship
Arrive in Aswan. Roundtrip flight to Abu Simbel and back. Visit Abu Simbel; Elephantine Island; High Dam; Unfinished Obelisk; Sail by Felucca and view of Agha Khan Mausoleum. Embark Ship to begin Nile River cruise.

Day 05 Aswan - Esna
Visit Kom Ombo; temple shared by two gods Sobek and Haroeris; Edfu; temple of Horus. Overnight Ship Cruise.

Day 06 Esna - Luxor
Visit East Bank - Karnak and Luxor Temple. Overnight Ship Cruise.

Day 07 Luxor - Train to Cairo
Visit West Bank -Valley of the Kings, Deir el-Bahari (Queen Hapshetsut’s Funerary Temple), Colossi Memnon), Madinet Habu (Temple of Ramesses III), Ramesseum. Sleeping Train to Cairo.

Day 08 Cairo - Sinai/St Cath
Coach to St Catherine; Arrive Hotel early rest -- Climb mountain after midnight. Wadi Tumilat (Land of Goshen and probable route of the Exodus); Jebel Ataqa/Suez (Red Sea Crossing of Israelites),Ayin Musa, Wadi Gharandal, Wadi Feiran, Feiran Oasis (Rephidim), Mt. Sinai, Saint Catherine’s Monastery climbing Sinai.

Day 09 St Cath/Sinai - Aqaba/Petra
Climb Mt. Sinai 1-6 am; travel to Gulf of Aqaba - Ferry to Aqaba. Ras el-Safsaf, Plain of Er Rahah; Jebel Musa east to Nuweiba, Gulf of Aqaba to Aqaba, and drive to Petra. Overnight Petra.

Day 10 Petra Full day at Petra. Overnight Petra.

Day 11 Petra - Jerusalem
Cross to Israel; Ein Gedi (optional swim in Dead Sea), Masada, Qumran; Ascend to Jerusalem. Overnight Jerusalem.

Day 12 Jerusalem
Full day Jerusalem View Old City from Mt. of Olives; walk down the mountain via Dominus Flevit Church to Gethsemane; Church of the Nations; past the Golden and Herod’s Gates; option of walking through Hezekiah’s Water Tunnel or shopping in Old City City of David excavations (including Hezekiah’s Water tunnel entrance, Pool of Bethesda, Ophel, and Warren Shaft); Western Wall excavations; Haram esh-Sharif (Temple Mount); Western Wall and Rabbinic Tunnel; Church of St. Anne’s and Pool of Bethesda; Via Dolorosa and Church of the Holy Sepulchre; Jewish Quarter, Hezekiah’s Broad Wall, Cardo; the Cenacle (Room of Last Supper);walk on old City walls and back to hotel. Tonight, Light Show in David's Tower. Overnight Jerusalem.

Day 13 Jerusalem Old City
Walking Tour. Bethlehem and Fields of the Shepherds; Ramat Rachel; Israel Museum (Shrine of the Book, Model City of Jerusalem); Yad Vashem; Garden Tomb for Communion; possible walk to Western Wall for welcome of Sabbath. Overnight Jerusalem.

Day 14 Jerusalem - Tiberias/North
Jericho, Wadi Qilt (view Monastery of St. George); Beth Shean; Participate Baptism in the Jordan River, Sea of Galilee Boat ride (worship time), Capernaum, Mt. of Beatitudes; visit 1st century fishing boat at Kibbutz Ginnosar. Overnight Tiberias.

Day 15 Tiberias - Tel Aviv
Nazareth, Megiddo, Haifa - Mt. Carmel (Deir el-Muhraqa), Caesarea; Swim Mediterranean. Overnight Tel Aviv.

Day 16 Tel Aviv - Istanbul
Early Flight 6:15 am; St Chora Church, Topkaki Palace, Grand Bazaar, Spicy Bazaar; Arrive Hotel. Overnight Istanbul.

Day 17 Istanbul
Hippodrome Square, Sultanahmet Mosque, Hagia Sophia Church Museum; he Archaeological Museum containing important biblical artifacts; Night Boat Bosphorus. Overnight Istanbul.

Day 18 Istanbul - Fly Cappadocia
Fly Cappadocia in late morning. Afternoon visit in Cappadocia; Underground City; optional Evening Folk dances. Overnight Cappadocia.

Day 19 Full day Cappadoccia
Optional Hot Air balloon in early morning. Full day exploring Cappadocia. Visit Goreme Open Air Museum with rock Churches, Underground City, the natural Citadel of Uchisar and the monastic Zelve Valley. Overnight Cappadocia.

Day 20 Cappadocia - Pamukkale
Iconium-Konya; Antioch of Pisidia; visit unexcavated Colossae. Overnight Pamukkale.

Day 21 Pamukkale
Visit newly excavated Laodicea and then drive to Geyre to visit Aphrodisias excavated by the New York University. Return to Pamukkale to visit Hierapolis. Overnight Pamukkale.

Day 22 Pamukkale - Philadelphia - Sardis - Izmir - Kusadasi
Drive to Alasehir to see the remains of the Philadelphia Church. Continue to Sardis to visit the Great Gymnasium, 3rd century Synagogue and the Temple of Artemis. Then, drive to Kusadasi via Smyrna-modern Izmir. Overnight Kusadasi.

Day 23 Ephesus - Kusadasi
Full day Ephesus tour and the Basilica of John. Join Ephesus Meeting in the evening. Overnight Kusadasi.

Day 24 Kusadasi - Canakkale
Drive to Bergama to visit the Pergamon Acropolis and Aescleparium. Then visit Assos. Overnight in Canakkale.

Day 25 Canakkale - Kavala
Cross the Dardanelles strait by car ferry. Drive to the Greek border. Change buses and drive to Kavala (Neapolis). Overnight Kavala.

Day 26 Kavala - Philippi - Thessaloniki
Visit Philippi. Drive to Thessaloniki for overnight.

Day 27 Thesaloniki - Meteora
Drive to Kalambaka via Vergina, Berea, and Pella. Overnight in Kalambaka located next to the Meteora Monasteries.

Day 28 Meteora - Athens
Visit Meteora, Thermopolis and Athens Plaka and Acropolis. Overnight Athens.

Day 29 Athens
Snap photo - Canal, Corinth Ruins and Museum, Lion Gate, Theather Visit Corinth - Cenchrea - Mycenae - Epidaurus. Overnight Athens.

Day 30 Athens - Rome
Transfer to Athens Airport for flight to Rome. Arrive Rome and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Colosseum - Forum - Mamertine Prison, Constantine' Arch - Palatine Hill, Circus Maximus, - free evening after dinner (possible visit to Spanish Steps, Piazza Popolo). Overnight Rome.

Day 31 Rome
Full day Rome - Vatican Museum Basilica St Peter - Market - Augustus Mauselum - Ruins Republic - Fontana Trevi - Piazza Navona - Pantheon. Overnight Rome.
