flight number TK2 departing at 18:50.
Jun 04 Sat Arrive in Istanbul at 11:40 Take the
connection flight to Izmir departing at 14:50
Arrive Izmir Airport at 16:00. Your tour guide and tour
leader will meet you after customs and baggage claim with a
MEG RAMEY sign. Meet and transfer to the hotel in
Izmir. Dinner by the harbor and overnight at the hotel in
Izmir (D)
Jun 05 Sun Izmir Tour Smyrna (Rev. 1:11; 2:8)
Visit Old Elevator, Archaeology Museum, Kemeralti
Bazaar, Smyrna Agora, walk in Pasaport & Alsancak area.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Izmir. (B,D)
Jun 06 Mon Pergamon (Rev. 1:11; 2:12) Thyatira (Rev
1:11; 2:18) Izmir
Drive North to Bergama to visit the ancient Pergamum.
Take cable car up to Acropolis. Then, drive to Akhisar to
visit the remains of the Thyatira Church. Dinner and
overnight at the hotel in Izmir. (B,D)
Jun 07 Tue Sardis (Rev. 1:11; 3:1) Philadelphia (Rev.
1:11; 3:7) Hierapolis (Col 4:13) Pamukkale
Drive to Sardis, capital of the ancient Lydia where the
first coin of the world was invented. See the remains of the
massive Artemis Temple, Gymnasium and the Synagogue.
Continue on to Philadelphia for a brief stop there before
arriving at Hierapolis (Pamukkale), a World Heritage site as
well as a biblical site. Dinner and overnight at hotel in
Pamukkale. (B,D)
Jun 08 Wed Colossae (Col 1:2) Laodicea (Col 2:1;
4:1316, Rev. 1:11; 3:14) Pamukkale
Morning drive to Colossae to see the location of the
unexcavated site. Then visit Laodicea and see the new
archaeological discoveries. Afternoon visit to the World
Heritage site of Hierapolis. Visit its Necropolis, Theater,
Tomb of Philip and more. Dinner and overnight at the hotel
in Pamukkale (B,D)
Jun 09 Thu Miletus (Acts 20:1538; 2 Tim 4:20) St John
Basilica Kusadasi
Drive to Miletus to visit the ancient theater where Paul
spoke to the Ephesian elders. Continue to Selcuk to visit
the Basilica of St John. After we will go to visit Isa Bey
Mosque. Visit Ceramic Shop on the way to Kusadasi. Dinner
and overnight at the hotel in Kusadasi. (B,D)
Jun 10 Fri Ephesus Kusadasi
Morning visit to the ancient site of Ephesus including
its Terrace Houses. After a visit to the Archaeology Museum,
we will visit a carpet factory for a demonstration of how
they are made and for shopping on the way to the hotel in
Kusadasi. (B,D)
Jun 11 Sat PATMOS KUSADASI
We will take the 06:30 am ferry to Patmos and arrive
there at 11:00 am. After our visit to the Cave of Revelation
and the Basilica of St. John, we will return to Kusadasi at
7:00 pm. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Kusadasi. (B,D)
Jun 12 Sun Izmir Airport Fly back to New York JFK
06:00 am pick up from your hotel for transfer to Izmir
Airport. Fly to Istanbul TK 2311 09:00/10:05 +
Fly to New York TK1 13:15/16:50. Arrive at New
York JFK at 4:50 pm the same day.
ISTANBUL EXTENSION:
Jun 12 Sun IZMIR AIRPORT FLY TO ISTANBUL
06:00 am pick up from your hotel for transfer to Izmir
Airport. Fly to Istanbul with TK 2311 09:00/10:05. Drive to
city center to visit the Archaeology Museum and the Hagia
Sophia Church. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (B,D)
Jun 13 Mon ISTANBUL
09:30 am pick up from your hotel. Visit the Hippodrome
Square, Blue Mosque, Underground Cistern, Grand Bazaar, and
take an afternoon Boat Tour along the Bosphorus. Dinner and

Jun 14 Tue FLY BACK TO NEW YORK JFK
09:30 am pick up from your hotel for transfer to
Istanbul Airport. Fly to New York TK1 13:15/16:50.
Arrive at New York JFK at 4:50 pm same day.
